Camps

Our leadership camps have served as a catalyst to our youth programs and are still very important to our organisation’s activities. We invite young people to an environment that is different from the one they are accustomed to and engage them in a series of activities that focus on their personal and leadership development.

Our activities include improving their communication skills, conflict resolution, goal-setting, motivation, problem solving and developing community. We also use this opportunity to centre dialogues around advocacy, civic education, youth health, career aspirations, environmental issues and community transformation. Our camp program often includes a diverse mix of young people from rural, township and urban communities where participants are engaged in activities; reflecting the ideal young African leader of the global village.
